1973

It was a night of track champions in victory lane as Ron Bouchard won the modified feature and Frank Naumec won the Late Model Sportsman feature.  Bouchard’s win was his 4th of 10 wins in 1973 and it was his 7th of 34 career modified feature wins.  Naumec’s win was his 2nd of 6 wins in 1973 and it was his 4th of 15 career LM-Sportsman feature wins.

1978

Geoff Bodine and Tom Rosati continued their mastery of the Stafford half-mile with Bodine winning his 4th of 13 features and 21st of 34 career modified wins while Rosati took down his 4th of 10 wins in 1978 and his 14th of 20 career Late Model Sportsman feature wins.  Jim Ward won the Street Stock feature for his lone win of the 1978 season and it was his 3rd of 22 career Street Stock feature wins.

1989

Bob Potter won the SK Modified® feature, Jeff Zuidema won the ProStock feature, and Tom Tagg won the Late Model feature.  Potter’s win was his 1st of 2 wins in 1989 and it was the 7th of his 24 career wins.  Zuidema’s win was his only win of the 1989 season and it was the first of 8 career ProStock wins.  Tagg’s feature win was his only win of 1989 and it was his 2nd and final Late Model win at Stafford.

1995

Steve Chowansky won the SK Modified® feature, Dave Etheridge won the ProStock feature, C.J. Frye won the Late Model feature, and Homer Webb won the DARE Stock feature.  Chowansky’s win was his first of 3 wins in 1995 and it was the 14th of his 24 career SK Modified® wins.  Etheridge’s win was his only win of 1995 and it was the 3rd of his 5 career ProStock wins.  Frye’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1995 that carried him to the track championship and those were the only 2 wins of Frye’s Stafford career.  Webb’s feature win was his third of 3 wins in 1995 and those 3 wins were the only wins of Webb’s Stafford career.

2017

Jon McKennedy won the MTS 125, Matt Galko won the SK Modified® feature, Tom Fearn won the Late Model feature, Joey Ferrigno won the SK Light feature, Duane Provost won the Limited Late Model feature, and Travis Hydar won the DARE Stock feature.  McKennedy won both Modified Touring Series features at Stafford in 2017 to go along with his 2 career Modified Racing Series wins at Stafford.  Galko’s win was his first of 2 wins in 2017 and it was his first of 2 career SK Modified® wins.  Fearn’s feature win was his first of 3 wins in 2017 and it was the 34th of his 56 career Late Model feature wins.  Ferrigno’s feature win was his only win of 2017 and it was the 15th of his 16 career SK Light feature wins.  Provost’s feature win was his 1st of 3 wins in 2017 and it was the 10th of his 18 career Limited Late Model wins.  Hydar’s win was his only win of 2017 and it was his first of 3 career DARE/Street Stock feature wins.
