1954

Bill Slater won the modified feature on dirt five years before Stafford became a NASCAR sanctioned track.  It was Slater’s only win of 1954 and it was his first of 8 modified wins at Stafford, all coming on dirt.

1980

Ron Bouchard won the modified feature, John St. Angelo won the Late Model Sportsman feature, and Jim Ward won the Street Stock feature.  Bouchard’s win was his first of 6 wins in 1980 and it was the 28th of his 34 career modified wins at Stafford.  St. Angelo’s win was his only win of 1980 and it was the only Late Model Sportsman win of his career to go along with 5 SK Modified® wins, including the very first SK Modified® feature run on April 30, 1982.  Ward’s feature win was his 4th of 10 wins in 1980 that helped carry him to the track championship.  It was Ward’s 8th of 20 career Street Stock wins at Stafford.

1997

Jerry Marquis won the CARQUEST 150 Busch North Series feature, Bob Potter won the SK Modified® feature, Todd Anderson won the ProStock feature, and Robert Palmer won the Late Model feature.  Marquis’ win was his first of 3 wins in 1997 and it was the only Stafford Busch North win of his career.  Potter’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1997 and it was the 21st of his 24 career Stafford SK Modified® wins.  Anderson’s win was his 2nd of 4 wins in 1997 and it was the 5th of his 7 career ProStock wins at Stafford.  Palmer’s win was his 2nd of 2 wins in 1997 and it was the third and final win thus far of his Stafford career.

2003

Eric Berndt won the Comfort Systems USA SK Modified® 100, Jim Peterson won the Late Model feature, and Gwenn Gaumond won the DARE Stock feature.  In the last chance qualifying races, Curt Brainard won the SK Modified® 21 Means 21 feature and Ed Ricard won the Late Model 16 feature.

2014

Doug Coby won the TSI Harley-Davidson 125 Whelen Modified Tour feature, Ryan Preece won the SK Modified® feature, Tom Fearn won the Late Model feature, Joey Ferrigno won the SK Light feature, Justin Bren won the Limited Late Model feature, Johnny Walker won the DARE Stock feature, and Dana DiMatteo won the Legend Cars feature.  Coby’s win was his only win of the 2014 season that saw him win his 2nd career WMT championship and it was the 6th of his 12 career WMT wins at Stafford.  Preece’s win was his 3rd of 6 wins in 2014 and it was the 19th of his 25 career SK Modified® wins at Stafford.  Fearn’s win was his only win of 2014 and it was the 16th of his thus far 56 career Late Model wins at Stafford.  Ferrigno’s feature win was his 1st of 5 wins in 2014 and it was the 3rd of his thus far 16 career SK Light feature wins.  Bren’s win was his first of 2 wins in 2014 and it was his first of 8 career Limited Late Model wins at Stafford.  Walker’s win was his 1st of 3 wins in 2014 and it was his 2nd of his thus far 19 career DARE/Street Stock wins.  DiMatteo’s win was his 1st of 2 wins in 2014 that helped him win the track championship and it was his 1st of 8 career Legend Cars wins at Stafford.
