1969
Bugsy Stevens won the modified feature, Johnny Coy won the NEMA Midgets feature, and Charlie Bombara won the Late Model Tigers feature. Stevens’ win was his first of 5 wins during the 1969 season and it was the 12th of his 72 career modified feature wins at Stafford. Coy’s feature victory was one of three career NEMA wins at Stafford and Bombara’s win was his only Stafford victory.
1980
Richie Evans won the modified feature, Mike Benevides won the Late Model Sportsman feature, and Jim Ward won the Street Stock feature. Evans’ feature win was his second of 10 wins during the 1980 season that saw him claim the track championship. Benevides’ feature win was the only Stafford win of his career while Ward’s feature win was his second of 10 wins during the 1980 season that saw him win the track championship, exactly the same as Evans.

1986
Jamie Tomaino won the modified feature and Scott Poirier won the Street Stock feature. The SK Modified® feature was halted by rain with 8 of 25 laps complete with John Anderson in the lead. The race was resumed from lap-8 the next Friday night and Anderson went on to win. Tomaino’s win was the first of three wins in 1986 and it was his second of four career Stafford wins. Poirier’s feature win was the only win of his Stafford career. Anderson’s victory the next week was his first of 2 SK Modified® wins in 1986.

1997
Jimmy Broderick won the SK Modified® feature, Brad Boissonneault won the ProStock feature, Tom Butler won the Late Model feature, and Woody Pitkat won the DARE Stock feature. Broderick’s win was his second of 6 wins in 1997 that saw him win the track championship as well as the New England Regional championship for the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series. Boissonneault’s feature win was his only win of the 1997 season and it was the 7th of his 9 career Stafford wins. Butler’s feature win was his first of 4 wins in 1997 and it was the 5th of his 25 career Late Model wins. Pitkat’s win was his only win of the 1997 season and it was the third and final DARE Stock win of his career as he has gone on to record 77 wins at Stafford between SK Modifieds®, Late Models, DARE Stocks, Whelen Modified Tour, and Modified Racing Series.
2003
Brad Hietala won the SK Modified® feature, Jay Stuart won the Late Model feature, and Patrick Grady won the DARE Stock feature. In the last chance qualifier feature events, Kerry Malone won the SK Modified® 21 Means 21 feature and Charles Lewandoski won the Late Model 16 feature. Hietala’s feature win was his first of 2 wins in 2003 and it was the third of his 4 career SK Modified® wins. Stuart’s feature win was his first of 3 in 2003 and it was the 15th of his 22 career Late Model wins. Grady’s feature win was his only win of the 2003 season and it was his second and final Stafford victory.
