1965

Pete Corey wins the modified feature on dirt.  It was Corey’s first of four wins in 1965 and it was his 8th of 21 career modified wins at Stafford.

1982

Ray Miller won the modified feature, Dan Avery won the SK Modified® feature, and Norm Plantier won the Street Stock feature.  Miller’s win was his first of 3 wins in 1982 and it was his 10th of 14 career Stafford victories.  Avery’s win was his second consecutive win of the 1982 season and it would be his last SK Modified® feature win until he returned to victory lane on Sept. 13, 2013.  Plantier’s feature win was his second consecutive and final win of the 1982 season and it was his second of 7 career Stafford victories.

1989

Mike Christopher won the SK Modified® feature on a Sunday where the Late Model feature was rained out.  It was Christopher’s first of three wins in 1989 that saw him race to the track championship.  It was also Christopher’s second career win after winning his first feature on Aug. 16, 1985.  He would go on to win 28 SK Modified® races and 3 championships.

1993

Steve Chowansky won the SK Modified® feature, Brad Boissonneault won the ProStock feature, Cliff Stakey won the Late Model feature, and Scott Bennett won the DARE Stock feature.  Chowansky’s feature win was his first of 3 wins in 1993 and it was his 10th of 24 career SK Modified® victories.  Boissonneault’s win was his only win of the 1993 season and it was his first career ProStock victory.  Stakey’s win was his only win of 1993 and it was his 4th of 7 career Late Model wins.  Bennett’s win was his second consecutive win of the 1993 season and was the final win of his Stafford career.

1999

Jerry Marquis won the SK Modified® feature, Jim Mavlouganes won the ProStock feature, Mike Quintiliano won the Late Model feature, and Jose Rodriguez won the DARE Stock feature.  Marquis’ win was his second of 5 wins in 1999 that carried him to the track championship as well as the New England regional championship in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.  Mavlouganes’ win was his only win of the 1999 season and it was his 10th of 11 career Prostock wins at Stafford.  Quintiliano’s win was his 2nd consecutive win of the 1999 season that saw him win 3 races in total.  It was the 2nd of his 20 career Stafford wins.  Rodriguez’s feature win was his second win of the 1999 season and it was his 7th and final Stafford win.

2004

Chuck Docherty won the SK Modfied® feature, Ryan Posocco won the Late Model feature, and Fred Nees, Jr. won the DARE Stock feature.  In the last chance qualifier feature events, Lloyd Agor won the SK Modified® 21 Means 21 feature and Paul Kecki won the Late Model 16 feature.  Docherty’s win was his only win of the 2004 season and it was his second and final career SK Modified® win to go along with 9 Late Model, 5 ProStock, and 2 Street Stock wins.  Posocco’s win was his first of 7 wins in 2004 that helped carry him to the track championship and it was his 12th of 45 career Late Model wins along with 5 DARE Stock wins.  Nees’ win was the only win of his Stafford career.

2010

Keith Rocco won the SK Modified® feature, Corey Hutchings won the Late Model feature, Matt Galko won the SK Light feature, George Nocera, Jr. won the Limited Late Model feature, and Don Wood won the DARE Stock feature.  Rocco’s feature win was his 2nd of 10 wins in 2010 that saw him win the track championship and it was the 15th of his 57 career SK Modified® wins, a total he is still adding to.  Hutchings’ feature win was his first of 2 wins in 2020 and it was his 4th of 8 career Stafford wins.  Galko’s feature win was his 1st of 4 feature wins in 2010 that saw him win the first of 2 consecutive SK Light championships.  Nocera’s feature win was his first of 3 wins in 2010 and it was his 3rd of 10 career Limited Late Model wins.  Wood’s feature win was his first of 2 wins in 2010 and it was his 6th of 12 career DARE Stock feature wins.
