1969

Bugsy Stevens won the modified feature and Mike Terrio won the Late Model Tigers feature.  Stevens’ win was his second of 5 in 1969 and it was the 13th of his 72 career modified feature wins at Stafford.  Terrio’s feature win was his first of 2 wins in 1969 and it was his 3rd of 4 career Stafford wins.

1970

Fred DeSarro won both ends of a modified double header with Bob Ledoux winning the Late Model Sportsman feature.  DeSarro’s 2 wins were the first 2 of 7 wins during the 1970 season and they were the 2nd and 3rd of his 30 career Modified wins at Stafford.  Ledoux’s feature win was his second of 5 wins during the 1970 season and those 5 wins were the only wins of his Stafford career.

1980

Richie Evans won the modified feature, Gary Stavens won the Late Model Sportsman feature, and Bud Pinto won the Street Stock feature.  Evans’ victory was his 3rd of 10 wins during the 1980 season that carried him to the track championship and it was his 17th of 37 career modified wins at Stafford.  Stavens’ feature win was his 3rd and final win of the 1980 season and it was the 9th and final Late Model Sportsman win of his Stafford career.  Pinto’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1980 and it was his first of 3 career Street Stock wins at Stafford.

1986

Bugsy Stevens won the modified feature, John Anderson won the SK Modified® feature, and Phil Rondeau won the Street Stock feature.  Stevens’ win was his only win of 1986 and it was his 72nd and final modified win at Stafford.  Anderson’s win was his first of 2 SK Modified® wins in 1986 and it was the 6th of his 16 career SK Modified® wins at Stafford.

1997

Mike Stefanik won the CT Classic 150 Whelen Modified Tour event, Ken Barry won the SK Modified® feature, Wayne Bellefleur won the ProStock feature, and Gary Pelletier won the Late Model feature.  Stefanik’s victory was his second of three Stafford wins in 1997 and it was one of 10 wins in 1997 that carried him to his 3rd of 7 Tour championships.  Barry’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1997 and those 2 wins were the only wins of his Stafford career.  Bellefleur’s win was his only win of 1997 and it was his second of 5 career ProStock wins.  Pelletier’s win was his first of 3 wins in 1997 that carried him to the track championship and it was his 4th of 6 career Late Model wins.

2008

Chuck Hossfeld won the TSI Harley-Davidson 150 Whelen Modifed Tour event, Ted Christopher won the SK Modified® feature, Chris Matthews won the SK Light feature, and Norm Sears won the DARE Stock feature.  Rain washed out the Limited Late Model and DARE Stock feature events.  Hossfeld’s win was his first of 2 during the 2008 season and it was the only Stafford win of his career.  Christopher’s win was his first of 4 wins in 2008 and it was career win 99 of 131 at Stafford.  Matthews’ feature win was his 2nd of 6 wins in 2008 and it was his 13th of 17 career SK Light feature wins.  Sears’ win was his 2nd of two wins in 2008 that helped carry him to his 3rd consecutive DARE Stock track championship.

2014

Nick Salva won the SK Light feature, Andrew Hayes won the Limited Late Model feature, and Jeff Jolly won the DARE Stock feature.  Rain washed out the SK Modified® and Late Model feature events.  Salva’s win was his first of 2 wins in 2014 and it was his first of 4 career SK Light wins.  Hayes’ win was his first of 4 wins in 2014 that helped him win the track championship and it was his 2nd of 10 career Limited Late Model wins at Stafford.  Jolly’s win was his only win of the 2014 season and it was his 10th and final career DARE Stock win.
