Leo Cleary won the Modified feature and Tom Cassella won the Late Model Sportsman feature. Cleary’s win was his first of 2 in 1973 and was the 12th of his 13 career modified wins at Stafford. Cassella’s feature win was his second of 5 during the 1973 season and was his 2nd of 7 career Stafford wins.
Moose Hewitt won the Winston 100 modified feature and Keith Williams won the Late Model Sportsman feature. Hewitt’s win was his only win of the 1975 season and it was his fourth and final modified win of his Stafford career. Williams’ feature win was already his 3rd of 8 wins during the 1975 season that helped carry him to the LM-Sportsman track championship.
Geoff Bodine won the modified feature, Tom Rosati won the Late Model Sportsman feature, and Tony Modena won the Street Stock feature. Bodine’s win was his 3rd of 12 in 1978 while Rosati’s win was his 3rd of 10 in 1978 with both drivers going on to win the track championship. Modena’s win was his first of 3 wins in 1978 and it was his 3rd of 9 career Stafford wins.
Mike Stefanik won the CT Classic 150 Whelen Modified Tour feature, Bob Potter won the SK Modified® feature, Jim Mavlouganes won the ProStock feature, and Tom Fox won the Late Model feature. Stefanik’s win was his first of 5 Modified Tour wins in 1995 and his first of 2 Stafford wins in 1995. It was Stefanik’s 8th of 20 career Modified Tour wins at Stafford. Potter’s feature win was his only win of the 1995 season but he would win his 5th and final SK Modified® track championship and it was the 19th of his 24 career Stafford SK Modified® wins. Mavlouganes’ feature win was his first of 2 wins in 1995 and it was his 4th of 11 career ProStock wins at Stafford. Fox’s feature win was his 2nd of 3 wins in 1995 and it was his 3rd of 4 career Late Model wins at Stafford.
Ed Flemke, Jr. won the CT Classic 150 Whelen Modified Tour event, Ted Christopher won the SK Modified® feature, Todd Owen won the ProStock feature, and Ryan Posocco won the Late Model feature. Flemke’s win was his only Modified Tour win of 2000 and it was his third and final career Stafford Tour win. Christopher’s win was his second of 9 wins in 2000 that carried him to the SK Modified® track title. The win was Christopher’s 49th of 131 career wins and it was his 43rd of 109 career SK Modified® wins at Stafford. Owen’s win was his first of 4 wins in 2000 and it was his 4th of 7 career ProStock wins at Stafford to go along with 11 career SK Modified® feature wins. Posocco’s win was his first of 3 wins in 2000 and it was the 4th of his 45 career Late Model victories.
