Bill Dils won an ARDC Midget feature. It was the only Stafford win for Dils.
1965
Don Wayman won the modified feature on dirt. It was one of 3 wins for Wayman in 1965 and was the 2nd of his 4 career Stafford victories.
1982
Greg Sacks won the modified feature, Charlie Savage won the SK Modified® feature, and Pat Chambrello won the Street Stock feature. Sacks’ win was already his 4th win of the 1982 season that would see him win 12 times and take the track championship. Savage’s win was his first of 7 wins in 1982 that helped carry him to the inaugural SK Modified® track championship at Stafford. Chambrello’s win was his first of 3 wins in 1982 that helped carry him to the track championship and it was his 7th of 9 career Stafford wins.
1993
Reggie Ruggiero won the CT Classic 150 Whelen Modified Tour feature, Tom Tagg won the SK Modified® feature, and Tom Butler won the Late Model feature. Ruggiero’s win was his first of 5 wins in 1993 and it was the 8th and final Stafford win of his career to go along with 15 modified wins and 2 SK Modified® wins. Tagg’s win was his only win of the 1993 season and it was his final career Stafford victory (4 SK Modified®, 2 Late Model). Butler’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1993 and it was the first of 25 career Late Model feature wins he would record at Stafford.
1999
Tim Connolly won the CT Classic 150 Whelen Modified Tour event, Jerry Marquis won the SK Modified® feature, and Wayne Bellefleur won the ProStock feature. The Late Model feature was rained out. Connolly’s win was the first of 2 wins in 1999 and it was his second and final career Stafford Tour win. Marquis’ feature win was his third of 5 wins in 1999 that helped carry him to the SK Modified® track title and it was his 3rd of 6 career SK Modified® feature wins. Bellefleur’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1999 and it was his 4th of 5 career ProStock wins at Stafford.
2004
Tony Hirschman won the CT Classic 150 Whelen Modified Tour event, James Civali won the SK Modified® feature, Tom Butler won the Late Model feature, and Joey Ferrigno won the DARE Stock feature. In the last chance qualifying race, Mike Mordino won the Late Model 16 feature. The Late Model feature was rained out. Connolly’s win was the first of 2 wins in 1999 and it was his second and final career Stafford Tour win. Marquis’ feature win was his third of 5 wins in 1999 that helped carry him to the SK Modified® track title and it was his 3rd of 6 career SK Modified® feature wins. Bellefleur’s win was his first of 2 wins in 1999 and it was his 4th of 5 career ProStock wins at Stafford.
2010
Bobby Santos, III won the TSI Harley-Davidson 125 Whelen Modified Tour event, Keith Rocco won the SK Modified® feature, Woody Pitkat won the Late Model feature, Ted Cain won the SK Light feature, Michael Wray won the Limited Late Model feature, and Kyle Casagrande won the DARE Stock feature. Santos’ win was his 2nd of 4 wins in 2010 that saw him win the Whelen Modified Tour championship and it was his first of 6 career Modified Tour wins at Stafford. Rocco’s win was his 3rd of 10 wins in 2010 that carried him to the track championship and it was the 16th of his 57 career SK Modified® wins. Pitkat’s win was the 3rd of 8 wins in 2010 and it was the 21st of his 40 career Late Model wins at Stafford. Cain’s win was his 2nd of 2 wins in 2010 and those 2 wins are the only wins of Cain’s Stafford career. Wray’s win was his first career win at Stafford. It would be his only win of 2010 and his only Limited Late Model win to go along with 8 career Late Model wins. Casagrande’s win was his 2nd of 3 wins in 2010 and it was his 5th of 20 career DARE Stock feature wins.
