Covid-19 Safety Protocols
Face Masks | Wash Hands | Keep 6 Ft. Apart
We have worked with Connecticut government officials to ensure Stafford Speedway will be ready to provide a safe experience for all in attendance. Safety protocols and procedures will be in effect that include:

- Covid Waiver: In order to enter the facility, guests will be required to complete a one-time COVID-19 waiver form. Waiver form may be printed and signed prior to arriving.
- No Re-Entry: Once in the grandstands, guests are not allowed to exit and re-enter (considerations will be made for inclement weather)
- Social Distancing
- Strict adherence to the CDC-recommended 6’ social distancing will be mandated (when possible) throughout the property
- Guests are encouraged to limit the size of groups when seated in the grandstand area.
- Guests can sit with family members or friends in the grandstand seating area but are encouraged to social distance from other individuals or groups
- The sale of reserved seating will be blocked for specific seats to ensure proper spacing is being met.
- Food, beverage, and souvenir service will have designated lines with 6 foot social distance marking. All are required to adhere to those guidelines
- Personal Protective Equipment
- All guests (age 5 and up) will be required to bring and wear face coverings unless doing so would be contrary to his or her health due to medical conditions.
- Paddock Area: Masks required at all times except when in your team’s pit stall
- General Admission Area: Masks will be required to be worn at all times in areas of increased congestion including, midway, bathrooms and while standing in any socially distanced queues.
- Grandstand Area: Masks recommended but not required when seated in the grandstand area and practicing social distancing
- Mask Required Grandstand Area: Mask to be required in grandstand section A (turn 1) and the paddock grandstand adjacent to the handicapper booth to accommodate fans that prefer to wear masks while seated in the grandstand area.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the facility, attendees are encouraged to wash hands frequently
- Stafford Speedway Staff will be cleaning and disinfecting restrooms throughout the event
- Bag Policy: Due to Covid-19 policies Stafford Speedway is no longer able to search bags. Stafford Speedway bag policy has been updated as follows:
- Prohibited:
- Coolers
- Backpacks
- Non personal sized bags
- Allowed:
- 1 Gallon clear plastic freezer bag
- Clear plastic or vinyl bag less than 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- Personal sized purses and wallets
- Prohibited:
- Camping: camping will be permitted in designated areas. Parking lot gate will not be open until the day of event.
Ticket & Grandstand Policy
No cash refunds, in the event of postponement tickets are good for a future event
For your safety and the safety of others, the following guidelines and rules are in effect at Stafford Motor Speedway.
- Bag Policy: Due to Covid-19 policies Stafford Speedway is no longer able to search bags. Stafford Speedway bag policy has been updated as follows:
- Prohibited:
- Coolers
- Backpacks
- Non personal sized bags
- Allowed:
- 1 Gallon clear plastic freezer bag
- Clear plastic or vinyl bag less than 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- Personal sized purses and wallets
- Prohibited:
Personal chair backs are permitted with size restricted to a maximum seat depth of 12 inches.
- The Following Items Are Not Permitted For Security Reasons:
- Glass
- Cans
- Alcohol
- Skateboards
- Rollerblades
- Bikes
- Pets
- Alcohol
- Glass Bottles And Cans
- Thermos Bottles Or Coolers
- Soliciting
- Firearms / Dangerous Weapons
- Lasers
- Permitted:
- Juice Boxes
- Plastic Bottles
- Snacks, Etc.
- Children ages 14 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult when entering and exiting the admission gates. Children are not allowed to exit the facility without an adult.
- The paddock area is restricted to persons involved in the preparation and maintenance of vehicles in competition. The paddock area is not a spectator area and persons under 14 years of age are prohibited from entering the paddock area. All 14 and 15 year olds entering the paddock area must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must complete and sign an Addendum A form prior to entry into the paddock area.
- To Enter The Pit/Paddock Area, Shoes And Shirts Must Be Worn. Flip-Flops Are Prohibited.
- Smoking Is Prohibited In The Main Grandstand Area.
