Santos was named as one of the 40 Greatest Whelen Modified Tour drivers and he is the 2010 WMT Champion with 19 career WMT wins. Santos’ 19 career wins currently ties him with Jerry Marquis and Todd Szegedy for 19th place on the all-time WMT win list and 6 of his 19 career WMT wins came racing at Stafford, including 3 NAPA Spring Sizzler® wins (2011, 2013, 2014).
Santos is a multi-time feature winner in USAC, notching a 2011 Pavement Sprint championship and he has also raced in the ARCA and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Santos scored a $50,000 bonus at Stafford in 2006 by winning a wingless midget feature and then winning the PRA Big Car Series feature after starting the race from the rear of the field and he also has 2 NEMA Midget feature wins at Stafford. Santos now joins the list of 60 Greatest Modified Drivers as voted on by the fans.
